You obviously didnt take the good advice you were given so people wont bother wasting their time with you.
You would have won at POPLA, but you could well loose at court,
Coupon mad is right, you wasted her and other peoples time only to only "forget"
So if it goes to court then dont expect other people to waste their time and you not take their advice, or will you "forget" to go to the hearing....Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
Kirkbyinfurnesslad i apologise to you and all the others that feel i have wasted your time, there are genuine reasons why i initially forgot but i am not going into them now, i have took all the advice on board and made decisions based on the advice given, i dont feel it has been a waste of anyones time, the other forum which you have also posted you will see that the majority said ignore, every ones advice has been helpful but with so many different opinions on here and the other forum its hard to follow them all. If it wasnt for the people on here i wouldhave no doubt paid the charge months ago, so can we all get back to what the forums are all aboutand that is in my eyes people with no experience on a subject taking points from people with experience. I was still hoping for help if it goes to court with ways to word my defence.0

It's not going to court IMO , if you get a letter before claim come back here, but even if you get one I still think its just part of the letter chain. You only need the defence if it does go there, its pointless otherwise. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

The RK has today received a letter from GPB solicitors and i would like to know if this is what is classed as a letter before claim or just silly threat.
The first line of it says RE: Roxburghe acting on behalf of the PPC
then it says amount due:£135
Then it says the parking charge notice number
It thens goes on to say we were written to by northern europarks and their agent requesting settlement of a pcn and due to the absence of payment or valid appeal our client has instructed us to recover the total amount shown
It then says the PPC might instruct them to take legal action and to prevent this we have to contact roxburghe to confirm our proposals in respect of this
Then it tells us to take note of all costs associated with issuing a claim and lists them all then at the bottom it reminds us what will happen if a judgement is issued0 -
Search for Roxburghe on this forum. Lots of advice already on the forum.
LBA = Letter before Action = Letter before Claim.
zzzlazydaisy has written almost a novel on LBAs , again on this forum and, I think, in a sticky too.0 -

Thought so, it does not actually say anywhere whether its a LBA0

Letters from debt collectors can be ignored even if they threaten court. The LBA thread is only for responses if a PPC themselves send a LBA. Not their lacky debt collector. And we have noticed that these letters still come from the Roxburghe address!
DO NOT reply to 'GPB' as you will be replying to Roxburghe call centre staff and egging them on, they will see you as a 'hooked fish'. It would be like people replying to Graham White in the old days (until recently) when Roxburghe used to send Graham White Solicitor' letters. And we NEVER told people to reply to GW.
COMPLAIN to whoever contracted the PPC there at that car park. Complain about this harassment by their agent and if at first you don't succeed, complain again and escalate it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry if I'm wrong but I don't trust this OP at all as the exact same thread is over on cag and has slipped up a few times (not a crime) but for someone who requires help, and especially in view of the fact that his girlfriend is the RK and the one whos name appears on all the correspondence. the OP certainly does not seem to be acting on good advice more questioning, and has a knowledge of Rox and Turbull etc0

And as stated in the other forum thread, the only slip ups ive madeis when ive said i have received something instead of saying the RK has recieved something and i have done this simply because the RK (my girlfriend) has indeed given me the letters to read as i live with her, there is nothing wrong with this, just a slip of the tongue, and if i appear to have knowledge of certain associates of PPCs its quite simply because several posters on here have told me to look through other posts to get that knowledge. I dont know what else to do to prove this, if i could put photos on here i would just upload all the stuff ive recieved so far, i dont care who sees it, its too late for the PPC to change anything nowanyways0
