Hello everyone,
I am going to London tonight (My gf lives there) and it is her 21st Birthday on Sunday so we are planning on celebrating on Saturday by going out and doing stuff all day, meals out for both Lunch and Tea. I just don't know where to go! She lives in Ealing so easy access into the centre on the tube, but I have spend so much time and I am still clueless. Have a budget of £150-200 for the day but am rubbish at time planning so don't know what is good to do and relatively near to each other so I could essentially move from one thing to another without jumping miles out of the way out of London. An idea has been see a West End show but then not sure where to go for food. I am just looking for ideas if anyone has had similar experiences. We both have Oyster cards which are topped up so tube journeys aren't a problem so don't have to be budgeted in.
Any ideas for the day would be greatly appreciated :T

If there are tickets available. Not very romantic but a good thing to do. And I seem to remember there being a Frankie and Bennys or TGIs next door, but obviously it gets very busy.
During the day, not sure what the weather is like but you could always go to London Zoo and picnic in Regents Park.0 -
You could try for day seats at a theatre box office tomorrow morning. A couple of weeks ago we went to the Phoenix Theatre and got day seats for Once the Musical. It was really good IMO and my teenage daughter whom I persuaded to go with me really enjoyed it (she said she didn't expect it to be as good and songs reminded her of Mumford and Sons). The front row seats are £25 and there are two performances on Saturday at 3pm and 7.30pm. Was surprised to find only one chap in front of us when we arrived at 9.50am. He was on holiday from New York and said he was surprised to find no queue as the queue for day seats at box office opening time is huge for the Broadway show. The musicians do a warm up which is great about half an hour before the performance starts. You can also buy a drink from the onstage bar in the set before the performance starts. reviews on Theatre Monkey. From Ealing Broadway it is a direct line to Tottenham Court Road.

There are a lot of places to eat nearby. 10 minute walk from there to Covent Garden. You coudl have a wander around there. China Town is not far. If you like M&M sweets there is a huge M& M shop near there with lot sof sweets you can buy and huge M&Ms to have photos beside (my 21 year old workmate loves it there).

Camden Lock Markets are good on a Sunday.0 -
what about afternoon tea at one of the popular hotels (you'll need to book) like the Ritz, Dorchester, Claridges or Corinthia... (the Corinthia still has availability, I've just checked) and then onto a show in the evening.
Also, you'll be so full after tea that you probably wont need a full dinner and can go for a late snack with drinks after the show0 -
Depends what she likes.
A Merlin Pass might be worth it, as then you could do the Dungeons, The Eye, Aquarium and Madame Tussauds.
Thorpe Park isn't too far away, plus you'd have it for the year.0
