Don't get caught by the holiday club scammers in Mallorca - VIDEO ONLINE!

I agree with the OP - yes, has been going on for a long time (but people are still being suckered every year), and the original timeshare idea was good (but not "megabucks" enough to keep the sharks out). Worth repeating as we lurch towards the next holiday/scamming season.0

tell them your on social and they soon leave
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
My parents went through all this. They kept asking the time share people about how much it would cost and other details. They walked out after a few hours, but it didn't cost them anything.
I've not watched the video yet, but how did they "trick you" out of all this money. If you agreed to give them the money then that's not a trick.
Yes, they will use a load of rubbish sales techniques, but that doesn't mean that you have to give them your money.
Right, just started watching the video. I'm enjoying it.
Your "wife" has abnormally large breasts though.
LOL - the "walking along the beach" bit looks like a domestic.Happy chappy0 -
I stick by one rule in all of these things, do not ever buy from anyone that you have not yourself approached, anywhere, any time, any place.
You will not go far wrong.
Oh and that includes the telephone and the front door.;)0 -
We had the same when visiting Cyprus - told them I was a solicitor and he was a police officer and we were there investigating the fradulent selling of holiday clubs - their little moped flew off down the road!!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!0 -

the same thing happened to my husband and me last week in Palma. We spent 3 hours of our holiday listening to their drivel. Fortunately we said no at the end and did not pay anything. I saw a woman and her two young sons in tears as they were promised this great holiday on a cruise liner and then a trip to America and Disneyland. Something has to be done to stop them trying to make fools of us all. Please let me know what I can do.0

Out of curiosity why wouldnt you name the company?
It really stuns me muppets still fall for things like this.
As an aside note i have a Nigerian friend who wants to transfer £10,000,000 into your bank, he just needs £10,000 first in admin costs. If you'd like to PM me your credit card details we'll get the ball rolling.......0 -

Basically, a couple of touts asked me and my wife to do a survey, and as a thankyou they gave us scratchcards. Guess what - WE WON THE STAR PRIZE OF A LUXURY HOLIDAY! Er no, I hadn’t.
Hmmmm... what's that quote about genius being limited but stupidity knowing no bounds?! You "WON" a holiday that left you nearly a grand out of pocket! Common sense would – sorry, SHOULD – dictate that YOU DON'T PAY FOR A PRIZE.
It's hard to feel sorry for greedy people who are stupid enough to play right into scammers’ hands! Hopefully the OP learned his lesson!
If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.0
