Only one card left...

Made my final payment to my Halifax card at the weekend, my boyfriend was aghast when I told him it was for a holiday we went on over 2 years ago!!:eek:
Now only one card left, a Virgin balance of only £1000 odd which loses its 0% interest in August, but now Ive got into the habit of putting money aside for debt, I should (fingers crossed) be OK.
I used to hate that feeling of going into the bank to pay off something that I no longer have, the last few were especially trying. From now on, I'll save for the holiday, pay for it by card, but then immediately clearing the balance - its no fun otherwise!
Cannot wait til Aug - my other two cards are for day to day spends, with points & cashback reward, but are paid in full every month so will be debt free after that woohoo!!

Well done, that's impressive.
It's amazing when you look into what the debt is actually for!
Our "old" debt was been paid off a while ago, we're just ploughing through )% credit cards of much newer debt. Our oldest now is for our wedding rings, which we do use every day still. haha.
Good luck in getting that £1,000 put aside for your 0% deadline.MFW2020 #5 £2,000/2,000 MFW2021 #5 £1,850/3,500MFW2022 #5 £3.001/3,000Sep'12 £233,750 Jan'15 £222,329 Dec’21 £139,584 MFiT T4 #24 £48k/£34k MFiT T5 #24 £22,186/£41k MFiT T6 #24 £4,700/£29k0 -

My ridiculous purchases include a car I bought before I passed my test that got stolen. Stuff from Claire's accessories and a holiday from Kuoni, only to find that every British person at the hotel got their holiday much cheaper from Thompson... and so it goes on.Debt-Free day 30th September 20140
