So far I have spent £1.24 on a box of three super posh magnum ice creams. Decided to treat myself as it is a nice summery pay day. Newsie was selling the same ice cream at £1.30 EACH! Nipped into Sainsbury next door and they had them on offer at half price. I can (but won't) throw away 2 ice creams and still have got a bargain! So proud of doing that when a few months ago I would have just paid the £1.30 and not even thought about it.

Think that will be it for the day on spending for me. Wow!

£2 on buses and £1.85 on lunch. Managed to stay within my budget for the week but any happiness at that has been somewhat battered by my work announcing that they messed up and will be paying us a day later than due next week. Managed to borrow a few quid for bus fairs but it means everything will be paid late and I still have five days to go of living off mostly bread and pasta... thankfully I've got a voucher for some free Lurpak as have nothing to put on the bread, but next to no fruit or veg left... utterly fed up :(

    Evening all,

Today I spent £1.20 exchanging DH's jeans for some bras for DD and I in M&S sale. However the twin pack fit awfully, so that will be a refund of £4, so actually £2.80 in profit (IYSWIM) ;)
