Recommend breakfast in City of London on a Sunday morning

I will be staying overnight in the City area of London on a Saturday. The hotel does not have a restaurant and I know that there is not much open in the City at the weekends, so can anyone recommend somewhere to go for a reasonable breakfast on a Sunday mornng in that area.

Thanks
Neil

There are Sunday markets to the east of the City (Brick Lane, etc.) if you want a hearty English breakfast or bacon sarnie.

There are foody places in Spitalfields, also to the east. And in Hoxton, to the North. There's also Borough Market at London Bridge.

Borough Market just over London Bridge.

The City as in the Financial District is a ghost town on a Sunday, very little will be open

Check the Wetherspoons website for the nearest pub to you, should be fairly quiet on a Sunday morning and the breakfasts are value for money.

Marias in Borough Market. Full English, 'bubble' and a pint of tea!
