The answer is:
Fall Out Boy got their name when they asked the crowd at one of their gigs what they should call themselves. Someone called back 'Fallout Boy' and it stuck. At that point they didn't even know about the Simpsons' character.:j Tehya Baby DD 22/03/2012 :j
