Morgan Stanley Card - Loophole

AT LAST! I have had my £20 annual fee on my classic Morgan Stanley card waived!
After two attempts to get the bankers  to waive the fee (included one heated argument in which the customer advisor was adamant I would be charged) I appear to have won the battle - in a 30 second phone call!
I did it because of fraudulent activity on my card, in which a new one was sent. The letter contained a leaflet about the card, all the details about the APR and cashback etc etc etc. But on the list of card benefits it said no annual fee.
I immediately phoned up and said I had received this leaflet with my card and, would you believe it, he waived the fee for a year.
I still intend to leave next year, but this could be a possible loophole. It might be worth phoning up and asking for a new card because yours is, say damaged, and then phone up when the new card arrives to get the £20 fee waived.
It might work. Good luck!
