Family travel in London

Hi

I am travelling on a Saturday from Weybridge into central London with one other adult and 2 children (9 and 7).

We are hoping to visit the Natural History Museum and time permitting HMS Belfast.

What would be the cheapest way to do this in terms of the travelling?

We don't have any rail cards but I don't know if we would save money if we bought one (we may use it occasionally afterwards).

Many thanks

Adults - one day travel cards from Weybridge

Children - day return to Waterloo. They get free travel on the tube, buses, etc.

If you do get to HMS Belfast you'll get a reduction:

pick up a leaflet or print off the vouchers

Also for some special exhibitions at the National History Museum I believe

If you are going to do very little travel and can be bothered with the process of paying a deposit £5) and reclaiming it afterwards Oyster cards (for the adults) might be cheaper. Day returns for all to Waterloo - the kids still travel free once arrived. Your tickets to London (keep both parts) give you the 2 for 1
