O2 Online
Does anyone else with an online tariff with O2 get annoyed by the number of times there website is down so they can "make improvements to it". It never looks any different when it is back online, and its such a pain when I think I'm close to the end of my free minutes and want to check how many I've got left and the site doesn't work.
A company that has an online tariff really shouldn't have so much time when the services are inaccessible

I also agree, it's very annoying and no i've never noticed any "improvement" either. I'm on o2 Online PAYG now (was on a contract though).
You can always ring them for an update on remaining mins, etc. Not sure if you're aware but you can do this without paying the 50ppm or even their new 0870 number by ringing 01349 887193. They answer as though you have rung the 50ppm tariff so just agree with them.
Word of caution, try not to ring it from your o2 mobile as if it is noticed by anyone or the system that you have been bypassing the 0870/0906 number, they'll probably cut the geographical number off. If poss, try and ring from landline, etc.
The above number was obtained from the excellent site SayNoTo0870.0
