Combining past ISA money?

This is probably a stupid question but I noticed that some of the best rates are for a set (quite large) amount of money - i.e. HSBC require a minimum of £15,000.00. Can my husband and I join our old ISAs together so we can put it all in this ISA or do we have to have money all from one named person?
Does that make sense?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

You can't join your ISA to your husband's - or anyone elses. You can transfer all your own previous years ISAs into one big one.0

No, nobody can combine their ISAs with anyone else. The "I" stands for "individual", so an ISA is just an account of an individual.
If you have heard of JISAs and think it somehow stands for "Joint" - - it is not, it's an ISA for juniors/ minors.
You should look to transfer (each of ) your ISAs if they are in accounts paying miserable interest. Best ISA rates are in post 1 of this thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/401374
Note that you must not make the transfer yourself, you must ask the new provider to do it.0
