Do you mean you applied for a payday loan for more than you were due to be paid and asked to repay it the day before you got paid :question::question::question:

If you've had a payment plan accepted they shouldn't try to take more. They usually start trying payments from 05:00.

  • I applied but couldnt pay it back so extended it the maximum amount of times then emailed them to inform them of my situation. They today still tried to take the money (the bank declined it) but also replied to my email to confirm the payment plan, although when i log into my account, the payment plan does not show up yet. Im going to draw my money out as soon as its in just incase. Is 5am the first time they will try and take it out of my account? The bank are also aware and said they will keep an eye on my account and try and stop them taking this money as since they have agreed to a payment plan on specified dates, they are no longer authourized to take this money tomorrow.

You should be okay, I don't think they try to take the money if you've set up a repayment plan.

And if they do, you need to ring them and explain you've set up a repayment plan; you've got the email as proof.

They're one of the more helpful PDL companies I've dealt with.

You need to ring your bank to cancel the continuous payment authority to the company. Should not be able to take payments after that.

I would do it on the phone and send to the bank in writing requesting confirmation its been done, in case they let one through and deny you asked to cancel it.
