CCJ What is classed as 'within 1 month' for payment so it can be removed

Hi all, with a CCJ what is classed as 'within one month' in order for the CCJ to be removed from your credit file?

Say, for ease, a CCJ was issued 19th Feb does the debt need to be paid in full before end of business 19th March ? or is it 18th March or is it 28 days?

also, if you paid the company directly over the telephone with a debit or credit card does the day you make the payment class as the payment date or the date it clears?


Im just trying to work out if its worth trying to pay it in full before the month is up but that will depend on when the month is classed as. I get paid on the 1 month date, so if it is the day before then its not going to be possible

The regulations just say 1 month. Call the court to check if I was you.

Dare I say it, this is one of the very few things I might be tempted to take a payday loan for if I had no other credit but could see the PDL paid off on payday.

It sticks in the throat to write it. The interest will not be worth it for the money you borrow, but it might be good value for keeping a CCJ off your record.
