Received a letter today asking for £189.62

This is the letter i received today, am i wrong to think this is unfair?
I've been over my overdraft quite a few times over the years and I've never received this letter before.
I'm currently trying to pay off £400 with no job or no income at all, and it's extremely difficult and very depressing. Receiving letters like this does not help.
What should i do

Thanks

Perhaps they have noticed that your circumstances have changed if you have lost your job recently?
Not sure why you have no income, do you not qualify for JSA?
You have my sympathy

I've got no income at all at the moment because of 2 full time courses. I've got a college course and a university course, I'm living off my parents at the moment, I'm 20 years of age, I can't get any Education Maintaintance Allowance and I can't get JSA because of my courses, I've been looking for weekend work but so far nadda.Live Long and Prosper!0 -
Hello Konspiracy,
I am sorry to hear about your letter. Are you able to apply for any kind of funding from your Uni or College? When I was at Uni, I had to claim some money from the Hardship Fund. I didn't have to pay this back either. Also before when I went to College, I was able to claim a small amount from their equivilant of the Hardship Fund. This may be able to help?

Must be hard for you living at your parents and getting this through. Make sure you phone up the Halifax and explain. Go to the Citizens Advice Bureau - they mediated for my ex husband when he got himself in a pickle. The main thing is don't do nothing.
Is there a local free paper you could deliver? I delivered one for a while and the money is not bad and you get plenty of fresh air.
Good luck0
