Black Marks on My Bathroom Tiles

Hello, Please can someone help me. I have natural stone tiles on the floor and walls of my bathroom. They are not smooth tiles but tiles with sort of bumps and crevices. I have noticed some black marks not on the grouting but on the stones itself. (1) What are the black marks? (2) how can I remove them? do you think ciff would be ok? Thank you so much in advance for your replies.

I have the same sort of tiles and I think you might have a slight case of black mould, it gathers where the water sits for a while and has trouble drying. I just use Flash Bathroom on the tiles, give it a scrub, leave it a few minutes and then rinse off. I'll then dry the tiles with a towel, as it's the residual damp that causes the problem.

Ciff should be okay, do a little test spot on a tile to make sure it doesn't bleach the colour. If it's all okay, give it a go. To prevent it from happening, try to dry the tiles after each shower, or at least rub away excess water using an old towel. If you've got a window in your bathroom, open it to help the water evaporate. Good luck!

Hi Chandler,
Best for mould is a diluted solution of bleach & water. This kills off the spores and keeps things at bay for a while. As Fluff says, try it out on a corner where you won't notice but all my tiles are fine with this and it shouldn't cause any damage to yours.
