Parking ticket in stockport peel centre.

Hi,

Last week i got a letter "PCN" from excel parking for £60. It was Saturday night, i was going nando's in peel centre in stockport and it was dark so i just didnt see the pay and display. If i would have i would of payed what ever it was. The letter has 2 pictures on it, one of my car entering and one leaving.

Anyway im reluctant to give them £60 of my money and ive had a few people advise just to ignore it, receive the letters but dont do anything! What does everyone think?

Do Exel now have such good computer systems that they can integrate p&d with anpr and have a picture of a car arriving and leaving which proves it did not pay?

    My exact thought, Mr Piper
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Perhaps you need to input the plate number into the machine ??

Possible but if you paid but forgot to put number in how does a camera shot prove you did not pay? Anyway it does not change the OP's options of ignore or go to popla.
