Hahahah - Now lets see if Parking Eye listen

So, spent a large part of the evening writing out my snotty message to the manager of the centre that charged me for staying 6 minutes over the hour I stayed not allowing grace periods of entering and leaving. I then decided to print the screen of my bank statement showing that I had paid for parking on the 7th and showed that I had made purchases at shops in that centre as well......turns out....I paid for two hours!!

The only thing I can think of is that I called through to make my payment and since the automated machine on the phone didn't like me, it transferred me to a real person who must have taken the details of my number plate from me incorrectly.

Needless to say, I will be contacting them to say it is their fault and not mine! Quick question - how should I word the message to them?? I want to have fun with this, hehehe. :rotfl:

Your choices are to ignore it or (in England/Wales only) to appeal, then insist on a POPLA appeal, where you can then ignore it if you don't win the appeal. Explained here by pepipoo forum:

and here's a thread about POPLA:

and a thread discussing a successful appeal to POPLA which involved Parking Eye, try using mulronie's wording in post #27:
