Well after a couple of cold weekends, we've spit 8 pallets and made a log store, and today finished off 4 raised beds .... will take forever staining it all them  and plenty of blocks/left over wood for more or the woodburner :)

Planning on putting them along the fence (on top of gravel), for some peas, french beans, salad and a thornless blackberry bush.

There is lots of building going on around here (new houses), which are advertising free top soil.
Would this be OK to go in the raised beds? topped up with compost??
A creative mess is better than tidy idleness :D
