Help! Motivation required.

Hi,
I'm in the process of buying my first house. I currently rent and have a spare room full of stuff that I've taken to car boot sales several times and hasn't sold. I need to have a good clear out before the sale goes through and was thinking of putting it on ebay. It is mostly books and DVD's. I have sold on ebay before but find the whole process of listing rather tedious. I need some motivation and inspiration to get this done otherwise I'll just end up taking the boxes to my new house and putting them in the spare room there.
Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

list in job lots if you just want it shifted or give it to a charity shop?

If I can't sell it I will probably end up giving it to a charity shop but since buying a house is an expensive business I really need to get all the cash I can. I will look into job lots.

I find using ebay Mobile a whole lot less tedious as you obviously don't have to take photos and load onto a computer before listing. May be worth trying it out if you've got a smartphone?

If it didn't go at a car boot for pennies then it is not likely to sell on eBay once you have needed to add postage costs on.

Check out completed listings before you spend any time on listing, books and DVds are not massive sellers anymore as they are so cheap to buy direct from Amazon.

I decided sell the dvds and cds on musicmagpie as it's less hassle. The ones that were recognised or wanted anyway. I'm getting £32.87 which is better than nothing and gets them out the way. Any others I might try on ebay and if they don't sell, the charity shop it is.

Does anyone know where you can sell books for cash? The only place I know of do exchange only.
