Is it worth waiting to see before booking with Ryanair!

Options
Have to go to Lourdes betwwen 6th June - 16th June 2005, will only be staying for 5 nights. Is it worthy for me to wait a couple of weeks and see whether there will be a late promotion? There is one actually going to Pau but must fly out by May. I would be grateful for some advice, I do not want to wait for the last moment and find the price has gone up, I think, it is a bit risky as it can go up or down. Does Ryanair has a pattern when they reduce their fares? Thanks

Its all supply and demand. I you waited and the flight you wanted was half-empty, they would probably reduce the fare to fill the plane but if there was only a few seats left they could raise the price knowing people would pay it.

last year we went to spain in september . we booked in march got good offer .my brother law booked his nearer the time and payed a lot more. we had seven people in our group and he had five he payed more than we payed and he only had five people.
we rang up before he booked asking if he chanced it and booked few days before if flight was empty would they reduce prices they said no .they would let flight go half empty .so my advice is to book as early as possible . :o:o:o

I think these days it is best to book early for flights - last year i was planning on going to visit a friend in spain in aug. when i looked for flights about 2 months beforehand they were cheap. I ended up booking them the week before going and paid £125 more!

i am thinking of going to visit again 9th may til 14th may. (Gatwick to Alicante)

started looking 3 days ago, cheapest was (surprisingly) BA , at £119.00.
Haven't booked yet as i'm waiting for my mate to get back to me to make sure he's going to be there, but have been worried that the price may go up as it gets nearer the time, so i've been hoping he'll hurry up and reply to my email!

But! Today i looked again to check the price and the outbound flight price is now £15 cheaper than it was yesterday, so total price is now £104.00

So the price can go Down as well as UP!

PS, marylee, did you miss the RyanAir 99p sale which ended on 21st April. Could have got a bargain!

The current Ryanair deals are for flying until the 7th July. Doesn't seem likely they will reduce them further now I guess.
