Most of us the thanks button to keep track of the comps we have entered to avoid entering the same comp twice (i.e. invalidate our entry). Hope that helps:)

Clicking the thanks button is a good way of keeping a track on the competitions you have entered - as you can't click on it twice - expecially if you have a lot of pages to catch up with - every time someone makes a comment, it 'bumps' the comp to the top of the list.

Apologies to Kipper. Did do a search on several different sites I just needed the help on the fact I couldn't get the link to work. So please tell me how to get the link to work properly and I will love you forerver. Well for 10 minutes at least.

You don't need to add the URL bit in thats in brackets and the beginning and end of your link

You can just copy and paste it straight into your post
