it depends on what the PPI insurance said.
You might find someone on the PPI forum http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=169 who has taken out the same loan?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
My aunt took the loan out and has made payments within the last 6 years so its not statute barred. I was just wondering this before i contact them to discuss the debt.0

it does is remove liability of the administrator.
remember most debt including utilities HMRC and Council are all at the same priority level
......
I asume since you are going through with this you have allready done more than just pay the funeral so intermeddled in the estate.
Rememeber you can just leave it alone in you have not intermeddled.
just because you are a named executor does not mena you have to admin an estate.
Does this mean after the 2 month wait i can discharge all debt i have been made aware of and only the estate could be held liable for monies owing after the 2 months?0
