Would you refund?

I sold a ski jacket (sale value was approx £25) to someone more than a month ago and today they have contacted me to say "thank you for the jacket, it's been received and is as described...I know you don't normally do refunds but I thought I would check if you might...my trip has been cancelled...and I'm hoping to claim some pennies back"
I do put on my listings that I don't offer refunds (although if an item was faulty or not as described I would be happy to). I've had no contact from this person in a month, nor have they left me feedback yet.
How do I know they haven't been skiing and just want to get some money back? I'm inclined to say that I'm not willing to refund but that I give my permission for her to use my original photos and description to relist the item herself.
Any thoughts, anyone?

i also woudln't refund, not your problem their trip is cancelled0

Have they left feedback yet?
Anyway, I would reply politely and suggest that rather than them paying to return it back to you, why not list it themselves on ebay.
What a chancer!0 -
agree entirely with above.
Bit cheeky asking, but if you don't ask you never know I suppose?
If I was in the buyers position I'd have just sold it on and tried to make a really good ebay listing etc to get the money back.Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.
If you don't like my opinion feel free to respond with your own.0 -
No way - they are taking the mick0

No! Even Marks and Sparks won't refund after a month - what a cheek!!0

Just reply saying that perhaps they should re-sell it on Ebay, and they can use your photos and description if they like.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
