So they have already paid for the item but not for delivery?

Did you tell them how much the courier was going to cost and did they agree the price?

Have you sold it and accepted payment without charging for delivery?

They paid by paypal. I bought some items for my mum, Listing quoted 2nd class, I changed that to 1st class recorded and paid by paypal.
Nothing arrived for a few days, Then i was going to contact the seller when i got a message from them. They had undercharged postage and would i pay the extra.

Items arrived and mum was not happy with them, They were dirty and had marks on them. But they would clean up. So decided to keep them but thought the price paid was fair and said no to the extra payment.

Seller lost out. I was in an awkward position though being my account.

But i have sold things and undercharged postage. I just put it down to experience.

Bought an item for £40 never used, Sat in teh shed for years. Sold it for 99p and i even delivered it. Hows that for service..

Been googling this and yes you can do a chargeback and leave the seller out of pocket.

I asked people to contact me for a price for the courier before bidding.
He bid saying he could collect, but I also then got him a courier quote.
He accepted the courier quote. Courier can't accept payment, as I am the seller.

I would contact ebay and ask their advice and maybe paypal too. Both are very easy to contact and are generally very helpful.

Paypal will probably tell you to refund the original payment and send a new invoice for the purchase price PLUS the 'agreed' delivery charge.

Best to phone ebay to make sure everything is OK, then if the buyer tries to be awkward and leave a negative, ebay will be more likely to 'help'
