No it isn't, it's also for the disc by mail option. You get three free discs over 30 days and can cancel after you add ten discs to your queue and get one disc in the post.

On the lovefilm main page it states 30 day free trial on all packages. I'm sure I read somewhere in the terms that the free trial was only for the streaming only package but each package has it's own terms so I must have been reading the terms for the package I signed up for.

Hi
Does anyone get this message,
• You unfortunately don't qualify for a free trial.

This may be because somebody from your household has already had a trial from a service powered by LOVEFiLM. We'll send an email with options, but if you don't receive this, please contact Customer Services for help in activating your subscription.
My younger sister is signed up to lovefilm, she is pretty sure she did not get a free trial month and we are using the same desktop pc temporalily, I have a different address. It states this at the landing screen when I enter my email and password. Tried using my other email accounts but to no luck.

Help please?

Free trials are only one per household so seems like your sister has already had a 30 day trial and not realised. Haven't LoveFilm always offered the 30 day free trial (it's a way to get people to become a paying member).

Managed to get round it. somehow logged into an account, in my name :D so whilst I was trying various email addresses, it was telling me I'd already had an account. closed the account which was my previous address. If my sister had a 30 day trial, it doesn't matter as her address is different from mine.
Thanks for the quick reply was tearing my hair out! x

How long does it take for the activation email? excited now! :D

Do you actually need one also, its telling me Im ready to watch? x

I received my activation email instantly. I didn't need to click any links in the email either.
