Security doors - alternatives to the big names

Hi,
I'm looking to replace both my front door and my back kitchen door with "security" doors (i.e. laminated glass, multi-point locks, solid frames etc).
My first point of call were Yale who want £1400 + £600 installation for a front door with a side panel and a back door. This price supposedly includes a £500 discount (£200 for the first door and £300 for the second).
Seems a bit pricey to me, so I'll shop around, but I expect that the "big names" will all be similar prices.
I wondered if anybody could advise me how I might go about identifying reputable smaller companies that will still give me a good product.
I'm looking to get an alarm system fitted also, so perhaps I might need to look for security firms that do both.
Also, perhaps I might be better getting a branded door, but fitted by a cheaper installer.
Any thoughts that might point me in the right direction for my search would be much appreciated.
EDIT: I'm also in the market for new double glazing at some point, so I wonder if I might be able to get a deal based on that too.
