Close an existing CC?

At the moment I have 3 credit cards. The first from Aug 2011, second Oct 11, and third Apr 12.

All 3 are sub-prime:
Capital One Classic
Barclaycard Initial
Capital One Progress

Today I was accepted for a CC with Nationwide with a far higher limit than any of these and a lower rate.

I've always paid off my cards in full and am doing the best I can to build my credit history in preparation to get a mortgage (I'm 20 at the moment).

My question is now I have my first 'prime' credit card should I close any of my existing cards?

MSE are journalists correct me if Im wrong, like all of us its a guessing game. I have had no issue clossing old card accounts as my bank is well over 8 years. Lenders prefer an account to be open 3 years
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Same here, I keep my old Barclaycard open, as I've had it nearly 8 years, but the others just come and go. Same with current accounts, my oldest is over 10 years old, the others are opened and closed as and when they benefit me.
