50p 'Firecracker' sausages at Asda

Went to Asda yesterday and they had packs of frozen butchers choice firecracker sausages. They are in a redish/brown packet (poss not good for kids as have chipotle chilli in them) for 50p. Think there's 12 sausages, poss 20.
They are 72% pork, so not wonderful, but might make a reasonable cassoulet?

There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Had them for dinner tonight. They would make a great BBQ sausage in a bun with onions. Quite spicy but no fat came out of them when I bunged them in the oven with the jacket spuds.
It is a pack of 12. They are £1 online.........?

Managed to grab a couple of bags. Looking forward to having some in a sausage sandwich, so thanks for that. :D

Just for the record. Westin Gourmet, who supply 'posh' meats, their sausages only contrain 70% meat. They say sausages with a higher meat content break up more, and that the customers prefer it at 70%. I don't like sausages with too high content of meat myself.

Bought some a couple of days ago and they do have a bit of a kick but very tasty. Also bought a pack of mini chocolate eclairs marked up as £1 but went through the checkout at 50p, think its christmas stock.
Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.:)

I have been resisting the urge to post on this thread with a comment along the lines of 'didn't Firecracker win the Derby?'.

    Sorry ...
