How long do financial associates stay on a credit report

I've checked my noddle report and was surprised to see my ex partner still named on it. The entry is dated 2002! We had a joint mortgage always up to date and settled a long time ago

    You need to file a notice of disassociation with the credit reference agency. I'd also check the other 2 agencies as well, as you may need to do the same with those.

    They'll stay on permanently unless you remove them.

    It's free to do though, and very easy. You can do most of them online, and the agencies update fairly quickly.
    Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
