Should I add an overdraft for a secondary account?

I'm opening a Nationwide FlexAccount (the fee free one) so that I can eventually apply for the Select Credit Card (given it has no surcharges on foreign currency transactions- it might be useful later in the year for trips abroad) and in the hope Nationwide offer another regular saver in the future. It won't be my primary account.
I'm planning on cycling the £750/month necessary to give the account prime status.
When I opened the account I was asked whether I wanted an overdraft and I said no. Would adding an overdraft provide any benefit? I don't need the overdraft, I'll cycle the money through and maybe a bit extra in to cover buying a coffee or something (so there's some regular account activity). Would there be any benefit to add the overdraft?

Can't see any benefit, and you might not actually get any O/D. I think I read somewhere Nationwide don't normally give any O/D until you have been with them for at least 6 months.0
