hen night southampton

Hi
can anyone help?
I need some good ideas for fairly cheap hen night in southampton.
I live there but have not for that long - has anyone had a hen night there? What can you rec?
As we are so close to the airport I would consider a weekend do.
We are teachers so it would have to be the weekend of 16th July or 23rd - peak time typical eh
Thanks

Edinburgh is popular for hen and stag weekends these days and there are cheap flights with FlyBe between the two.

    Hiya
I live in southampton and I know that for clubs its not great really, unless you are a student. However there are some lovely hotels in the new forest (check out http://www.tripadvisor.com for feedback about hotels) or you could rent a cottage for the weekend. Then you could spend the weekend having beauty treatments - going go-karting, paint balling - eating at any of the lovely resturants in Oxford Road. Then a bit of money saving shopping at Gunwarf Quay shopping outlet. I think starlight express is at the mayflower around that time too.

or get a train to london (use trip advisor for hotel info) go and see a show, go to a club,go shopping.

or Yeah Edinburgh is great too. We stayed in a fab hotel there (pm me if you want me to tell you the name as I will have to ask man what is was called :-).)We flew from southampton - got on a bus at Edinburgh airport that went straight into town.

Or what about brighton? I love Brighton - Great shoping, fab clubs and amusements galore.

Pm me if I can be of any help at all.
