Can anyone help please, i'm currently trying to get a mortgage but my credit file is very poor, it's improved over the last few months and i am curerntly with a lender that is unable to help. I also have a black mark on my file in relation to paying int only on my current mortgage that i'm currently trying to remove but this could take weeks. I am with an advisor that is unable to provide a mortgage offer and now reading through this forum i think he only works with certain lenders. Are there not other lenders out there that will provide a mortgage to people with bad credit rating but with higher interest rates?
Thanks
Thanks

Hi and welcome, this is a much better sub forum to be posting in.
What is your mortgage balance and what is the approx. value of your property?
Do you have any defaults or CCJ's; if so what value and what date?
This will help with an opinion on whether you are likely to achieve finance and on what likely terms..I am a Mortgage Broker

Yes they are. The ones that are causing the problem are the mortgage ones back in 2011 I was in financial difficulty and spoke to them and they offered int only but not once mentioned that it would appear on my credit file, so I've put in a complaint to have the mark removed.0
