Remortgage Advice Please

My 2 year fix rate ended in September last year with Bank of ireland and I have subsequently been reverted to the standard variable rate.

I'm looking into taking out another fix year deal again but not sure if I should go with a 2 year fix rate or 5 year fix rate. any advice welcome. This is my first time remortgaging. :undecided

Establish what your existing lender's customer retention offers are.

Once you've done that, look at remortgage products for your circumstances - LTV, income etc.

Once you have an idea of what's available, you can then consider the two year or five year issue.

No-one can advise you what is best for you. You are going to have to consider your circumstances now and how they might change in the future and plan from there.
