Shower surround and tray

After a bit of advice. We are replacing our shower cubicle and tray. We don't need a fitter, where is the best place to get one. Am I better going to b and q or wickes or going to a local independent? Will one be better price wise and one quality wise or doesn't it really matter?

Your independent will give you better advice.

Make sure you get a stone resin one, not a cheap acrylic one.

Lovely contradiction in this sentence but I know what you meant. ;)

As to the nub of your post Phil is spot on on both counts.
