Repairing internal door

Had a little accident moving some furniture with the missus (always dangerous!!) and need to repair asap as we live in a rental.
The door is the hollow frame type and skin appears to be thin plywood. Area damaged is approx 150mm square and is basically a hole where the ply has splintered inwards.
Any hints or tips for cheapest, easiest way to repair appreciated as I've never had to repair a door before!

Because a repair will always look like a repair. And if I was a landlord I would taking the cost of the door and fitting off of your deposit.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
