Mmmmm New Years Eve, and I thought I'd get a head start on the new diary.
Have attempted 2 others in the past and have had to consign them to the dusty wasteland that is the internet, so thought I would start again.
Having been away from mse for a variety of reasons, have spent the last few hrs with large mug of coffee, fat recycled cat on my lap catching up with various diaries: Mrs Porridge, MrBloater, LemonTree, and Eager Elephant to name a few....I've been away far too long.
So, where has 2012 left me?:)
Got rid of idiot features OH
Got evicted
Got new place for me and DD's and fat recycled cat (known as RC on here from now on)
What do I hope for 2013?
Have £9K left to pay off....would be nice if I could manage it:D but we shall see.
Have a Happy New Year everyone!

Welcome one and all!
Fat RC is hiding in the kids wardrobe(we've been hoovering) he did make a run through the window and then did a cartoon cat jump on the way in....his overlly large backside dragged him off the windowsill so he headed to the wardrobe, coffee is on the table, kids are....well peaceful, I'll only start getting suspicious in an hr when it's too quiet:D
New years started with the Witterings New Years Dip: lots of us fools in fancy dress for a run into the sea, scream and run away again (though I didn't find it was fancy dress till I got there, standing in my bikini and people putting sunglasses on to hide from the whiteness of my legs:rotfl:)
It was, shall we say, a little nippy, but I shall be back.
Very MSE day, a friend took my down and bought coffee so I haven't actually spent anything. Tmw should be the same apart from budgeted petrol and food for RC.
Tmw will also see me rejigging the budgets.
So, does anyone have any new years resolutions?Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

2nd Jan: so far so good I haven't managed to end up in casualty:o this is a major achievement for me as I am soooo accident prone (and have many stupid hobbies that tend to put me there on a monthly basis, I turn up and they just say 'you know the routine and where x-ray is' and off I toddle/limp)
Am kid free for the moment though for how long I have no idea. I do have 2 extra today as both DD's have a friend over.
Fat recycled cat is curled up on the table snoring like a freight train with one paw on the keyboard.
All I need to do today is pick up cat litter and meet a friend for coffee and cake: she gets the cake I get the coffee and then off to pick up a bed for DD2 from her place (which I will pay for end of Feb).
DD's back to school tomorrow and I'm not back till Monday:T, which means tomorrow is a vast pot of coffee and paperwork to make sure I have all my debts in one place.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Ooooooo just reworked my figures and have a new total of debt:j why am I celebrating??? well it's a hell of a lot less than I thought it was.....why? well, muppet features here has been counting one of the debts twice:o:o:o:o
Anyway, finances checked, waiting on tax credits and then council before I rework my budget.
At the moment I am having to pay my full rent, but as a supply teacher my work varies so finally made a claim for benefit, yet they work it out using tax credits who just happen to be dragging their heels aaaaaargh.
Am a happy bunny with that total though:j
So far everything is quiet on the western front........mmmm must check on DD's:DProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
