repeating myself again but this is clearly stated on the CA website which i cant post a link to as Im a "newbie"

dont look on wikipedia, google, the kitchen table anywhere else

go to the goverment backed advice charity!
below is a copy and paste from their website the page is entitled "faulty goods - if you want your money back"

How should a refund be paid?

If you’re entitled to a refund, it’s normal for this to be given in the same way as you originally paid. For example, if you paid in cash, you’d normally be given a refund in cash. However, this isn’t required by law.[/QUOTE]

But you are arguing it is faulty... It clearly is not. Your only issue is that the store set it up to their/manufacture standard set up.

Your issue is you are not happy with it in its current state. So its a not as described issue.

Let me take a stab in the dark and this is PC world/Currys ?

They will and do set them up for people.

Or it could be that they have requested the manufacture to do this for them given they will have been expecting to sell a lot to new users who would not want the hassle of setting it up.

Take the advice given and do a factory restore and set it up yourself.
Never ASSUME anything its makes a

This thread is going round and round in circles with the OP posting useless posts and polls and bolding nonsensical paragraphs.

The Sales Of Goods Act allows a consumer a short period of time to inspect the item and if faulty reject for a full refund, it is commonly accepted that back to the original method is followed, if paid by Credit Card then a refund back to the Credit Card should be followed (as technically it is not the consumers money but the Credit Card Companies).

The point is, and this is what you don't understand, the company can refund back to the original method which in your case is Vouchers, JUST because a company doesn't state they will only refund to the original purchase method DOESN'T give you extra rights or contractual rights, you can ask them, but if they refuse theres jack!!!!!!y all you can do about it.

Stop making a fool of yourself.

Op, the first time you mentioned the CA website I thought you were refering to the Consumer's Association.

A little tip... if you are going to use acronyms, probably best to explain them at least once.
