I only went to our little tesco express but got four packs of sausages at 15p a pack, cabbage for 35p (or 39p cant remember) button mushroom packs for 35p (got 2 packs 1 on meal plan and the other for chateabriand sauce with christmas beef). Also nabbed some bananas for 50p.

(Not rock bottom prices for the veg but cheap enough for us :-D )

They had chickens for £2 but we have no space in freezer so left for others :0)

I have just returned from Tesco. The party food was reduced to 10p each, but a multi buy kicked in and took £13.00 off the total,I had only spent £11.00 (just added it up and would of cost £120.00 if I had paid full price)he called the supervisor over, who said you need to spend another £2.00 there is a glitch.so I grabbed a box of chocs for £3.So my shopping only cost a £1.All dated 26th dec,now all in the freezer ready for new year buffet.

    WOW!!!:T

I got an e-mail saying you could get Christmas trees for £1 in B&Q but apparently it was spam.:p
  • I got 5 potted blue spruce trees for 1p each in B & Q :j
