Bread 20p per loaf
Bistro Salad 45p
Mini sausages 50p
Extra Special Coconut Chicken on sticks 40p per pack - got 2 packs
Chicken Goujons £1.50
........ pity there wasn't a carrot or a swede to be had in the place

They'd been selling 'whole salmon' earlier this week for £4.00 each - pity I can't stand the stuff :rotfl:0 -

I went to Tesco around 2pm and got
4x 2.5kg chickens £1.01 each
8 x 750g packs mince beef 58p each
5 x packs of 2 chicken breasts 60p each
4 x packs of skinless chicken thighs 24p each
15 yes 15 loaves of kingsmill bread at 40p a loaf
copious amounts of veg all for 10 p a pack
7 packs of bacon 60p a pack
4 kg of mature chedder off deli counter 2.50 (now grated and in the freezer)
numerous packs of cocktail sausages for pence
2 finest new york cheesecakes at 50p each think these had been reduced by accident as the date was 28th Dec

I only went to our little tesco express but got four packs of sausages at 15p a pack, cabbage for 35p (or 39p cant remember) button mushroom packs for 35p (got 2 packs 1 on meal plan and the other for chateabriand sauce with christmas beef). Also nabbed some bananas for 50p.
(Not rock bottom prices for the veg but cheap enough for us :-D )
They had chickens for £2 but we have no space in freezer so left for others :0)First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

I have just returned from Tesco.The party food was reduced to 10p each,but a multi buy kicked in and took £13.00 off the total,I had only spent £11.00 (just added it up and would of cost £120.00 if I had paid full price)he called the supervisor over,who said you need to spend another £2.00 there is a glitch.so I grabbed a box of chocs for £3.So my shopping only cost a £1.All dated 26th dec,now all in the freezer ready for new year buffet.
