Christmas Lights - Indoor or outdoor?

So I've untangled the Christmas lights, but I'm sure one set went outside on my balcony. Some of the labels have come off but the ones that are still attached don't say if they're indoor or outdoor.

What's the difference - can anyone help please?

Thanks

The outdoor ones don't go pop when it rains on them. Sorry if that appears flippant but I'm not really sure how you expect anyone to know from this side of the interwebz without either a better description or a piccy. :D.

    Cheers

Does it say on any of the transformers for the bulb sets IP44 as they can be used outside as long as transformer is inside or in a outside mains box

You cant really tell with the bulbs I have both inside and outside if label is missing or does not say ip44 then its difficult to tell
