Nadine Dorries must 'earn affection' says David Cameron

It would be interesting to know what the PM means by this statement.... Another fine mess you have got me into...

MsDorries insists she was given permission to take a holiday by the former ChiefWhip Andrew Mitchell, although Mr Mitchell has insisted he was not told whatshe was planning to do with her time off.

There's only one person who has got themselves into a mess here and that's Nadine Dorries, who swanned off on holiday while she was supposed to be working, representing her constituents.

She was busy claiming that she was a celebrity on the news earlier.

"Unfortunately, I think that not only are Cameron and Osborne two posh boys who don't know the price of milk, but they are two arrogant posh boys who show no remorse, no contrition, and no passion to want to understand the lives of others - and that is their real crime."

    Well said Nadine

I am no fan of Nadine Dorries, but she has done no worse(or not even close) than many of her male money grabbing comrades who have a list of high paying consultancy work for many of the top companies who swanning off all the time making some real wonga.

Reading between the lines of David Cameron's statement what he is really having to do is try and get Dorries to be seen to be sucking up to him in order to give the illusion he is in charge before he gives the whip back, but in reality there is no way he will take the whip off her for good and call for a by election, too risky.

Dorries has Cameron by the nuts.
  • She represents the kind of working class Tories that Cameron really needs to appeal to, and her point about posh boys having no understanding of family budgets was a sharp one. She does however go about things with such thick-skinned clumsiness that her career as an MP is going to be fairly limited.

You have hit the nail on the head, maybe a few more outspoken MPs may just get their point across to the politicians and make them sit up and listen, especially when at this next election the floating voter will scare the pants of many MPs

In the words of Captain Blackadder, her "resignation and suicide would seem the obvious suggestion."

Why would there be a by-election?
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher
