Flight delay Compensation Claim with Monarch

Firstly to make any type of claim you have to complete the pro forma for Monarch. They said they would not consider a claim submitted any other way. Naturally this required quite a lot of information and documentation including copies of your passport. This form is available on line or by phoning them. One form has to be completed and signed for each for each flight. We have now sent our claim which has been acknowledge and we got a reply saying it would be considered may may take some considerable time before they respond. I am sure they will try and get out of it although the deays were over 3 hours and due to technical difficulties not strikes, war or weather. Has anyone else subnitted a claim to Monarch and have you received a similar response or has anyone had their claim paid in full!!!

I received an email from Monarch with the attached claim form.

A quick question regarding the original booking confirmation and/or boarding cards. Our flight was in 2008 and we did not keep our boarding passes. Our original booking confirmation was on a previous PC so we no longer have that either. We supplied the booking reference number in our original letter to Monarch.
I do still have the out dated passports we used for this flight so can supply the photocopies asked for. Is there anything else I can give them?
