Hi to all the greenfingered bods on here! i need a smidge of advice! I live in a maisonette, with a tiny garden, and want to try and grow something edible!!
Ive only got a patio, so it needs to be 'pot worthy' if you know what i mean? Ive got a very sunny kitchen, so i could grow things in pots there, and my garden gets lots of sun in the afternoon. Anyone got any ideas??
viks xx

Pretty much anything you grow in the garden can be grown in pots. I'm sure I've read lots of threads about this very subject. Try this one

I have posted this link elsewhere but I hope people don't mind again. It does work and if you have limited space is brilliant. You of course don't have to follow the fertilizer bit even though that works too!
Good luck and enjoy. http://journeytoforever.org/garden_con-mexico.html

Why not try 'googling' something like 'container vegetables' or similar. You will end up with loads and loads of advice and ideas.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

Brilliant link.
With respect to LOF, in the UK it is often referred to as Human Liquid Activator (HLA), and really helps with compost making. There is a really entertaining and informative book called "Liquid Gold" which covers its use in gardening and industry.
Another useful link, that I may have put up previously is http://www.sendacow.org.uk/schools.asp?active_page_id=245 which shows how to grow lots of vegtables in old sacks and bags.
Finally, Organic Gardening magazine has a basic article this month on container gardening. Not enough to justify purchase, IMO but have a quick read in Smiths or Borders. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
