Best last minute $ exchange option?

I had got myself a Clarity card application sorted, but I've just realised I sent them back the wrong agreement form, idiot. So I don't think I'll be getting that card before I go to America on Thursday.
I do have a Barclaycard (which was going to be my back-up) but this obviously has some fees attached. What is my best option now given it's unlikely any online application card will arrive in time?
Thanks for any help

Best last-minute options are:
If you you can get to the London area easily, open a Metro Bank current account which comes with a fee-free debit card, issued instantly.
Edit - I was going to recommend the TravelEx cash passport globe card, but I now see that it's become rather less competitive than it used to be. It's now gone up to 2.49% exchange rate loading plus 10 pounds to buy the card itself.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Thanks for that Benjus. I'm not in the London area so the Travelex option seems to be the best (only?) option, even if it now less competitive.0
