Does anyone know of an insurance company that will cover cancellation costs for a short residential event in the Uk in case snow stops me getting to the venue?

Try Columbus Direct as they seem to underwrite many short term Insurances. But do phone them and ask the question. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0

Try J L Morris, they provide cancellation that covers adverse weather.
Check the terms to see if there are any requirements for a valid claim e.g. certain amount of snowfall etc.0 -
Yep, but only available for events happening in [STRIKE]June[/STRIKE], July & August
