Lloyds TSB's Advance card Q?

I've applied for a Lloyds TSB's Advance card to get the 12 month 0% BT.

One thing that I was wondering about is why would anyone sign up to this card for any other reason than the 0% introductory rate? As there is no interest free period for normal usage I can't see why anyone would want to have one?

Have I missed something?

No but Lloyds wished you had!

They are probably hoping less alert customers will be so blinded by the generous BT offer they will not understand how much purchases will cost them.

Their only justification is a slightly lower APR (11.9%) compared to their other cards (12.9% - 17.9%)
