Honeymoon in New Forest

Hello all,

Well firstly, let me tell you that I am getting married 15th September :D

We are looking to go down to the New Forest for our honeymoon, but I am having trouble finding the right place. We are looking for a self catering place, like a cottage. Dont care where, as long as its in the new forest or the general area.
Can anybody help me????

Thanks
Proud dad to Darcy.....

Andy, if you have a look in daltons weekly - available from most newsagents every thursday, they have loads of holidays, or alternatively as in my previous post, have a look on their website.

Hope this helps, have a great wedding and honeymoon!!

When you are on your honeymoon, get the map out and head over to Calshot, its one of my fave places, you can sit and look right across to the Isle of Wight and watch all the boats. There is an activity centre there with a great cafe!
  • Not sure about self catering - but i live on the edge of the new forest and I love it! There are many places to visit like otter and owl sanctuary if you like that and wonderful walks and places just to sit and be a peace. Hope you find your perfect place and have a wonderful honeymoon. September is often a nice month around here...

  • Try this site, it's the new forest tourism site http://www.thenewforest.co.uk/thedms.asp?dms=1&sectorId=4

I second the recommendation for the otter and owl santuary, plus Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Hengistbury Head are all really nice.
