Orange Loyalty - now no deals?!

Orange are terrible for renewing your contract, i have had no good deals from them last 4 years.
So i just ask for my pac code, use it for 1 week on giffgaff buying a £5 goodybag, then take a new contract out and transfer my old number back.., get cashback through quidco also plus cashback from phones4u.
Orange are not getting paid direct when doing this, so you would think they would actually try and give decent deals to keep customers.
I will never get a new phone direct from Orange again.0 -
Interesting..? Note last activity date. Probably got hammered on here! They do it on Facebook now.

Hi diamonds,
I copied that Ofcom bloke in on all I've sent so far.
Don't know if they'll look at it or not.
Actually got call from a correspondence@... rep this morning.
He 'liaised with upgrade colleagues' and called me back with 'GREAT NEWS FOR YOU!' - upgrades people will ring me back and 'see if they can find the best plan for you'. Er... He put a lot of emphasis on 'market pressures' 'current climate' blah blah blah. Was very cagey about 'loyalty' bundles. I really get the impression they've clamped down on those universally now.
Might as well have just gone straight to 'retentions'. In fact would probably end up better off. :rotfl:
AND - he told me that upgrades and 'retentions' have now been 'amalgamated' into one! How convenient. :rotfl:
I'm thinking I'll probably get PAC code and booger off but we'll see if they surprise me.*Look for advice, not 'advise'*
