Help with fifa 2013 problem

Hi, Since buying this game 5 weeks ago, my son has had difficulty getting it to work properly. We have contacted ea games weeks ago but they have been no help - they just keep saying that they are trying to sort things out. I have contacted trading standards and they say to write to the company but i can not find a postal address. Have other people had similar problems if so how did you manage to get them sorted out. Any advice very greatfully received. Thanks in advance. kje.

For which format (PC, console?) - without wanting to sound like a condescending jerk I guess PC and ultimately your computer is not built to run such a game - which is why if you are unaware of anything computer related, buy it on a CONSOLE.

EA are having problems with online play but offline is working fine (ie - not letting your game connect to the servers)

It's not classed as a broken game though and there's a patch due out end of this month

Hi, Thanks everyone for taking the trouble to help.

In answer to the points raised - it is the ultimate edition for x-box live; it was pre-ordered on line from "shop to"; and the problem we have is that we are not able to open the weekly packs or any packs won.

It is very frustrating and ea's customer services that we keep phoning are worse than useless, they just keep saying that they will pass on our complaint, but we are getting no feedback as to when this problem will be solved so I am just trying to find any other avenues that we can try to find a solution. So if anyone has any further suggestions as to what we might try we would be very greatful.

I would imagine that there are forums relating to EA games etc. Or even generic gamers forums.
Try some of these as they are usually a good source of info.

The problems in that slightly hysteric DM article were solved when a patch was released for the game on PS3, XBox and PC on the 19th October

Whats the weekly packs ?

Maybe ask on the xbox forums if anyone else has had a problem, might have come across a solution.
