Email from Company called Cash Choice UK

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has heard of this company or this kind of communication.
I received the below email just now and I have never heard of this company nor believe I owe them money! I also find it odd that the amount owed is less than the amount they are saying is the settlement offer! I dont want to reply in case its a scam, shall I just ignore?
EMAIL:
Date:26/10/2012

Loan Number: 559

Balance: £165.5

REDUCED SETTLEMENT OFFER - £315.5

Dear *****,

Despite our repeated efforts for payment, the above account remains unpaid. We are unaware of any legitimate reason for non-payment. However, without prejudice, we are willing to accept a reduced settlement figure in order to draw the matter to a close.
____________________________________________________________________________

Our offer of full and final settlement: £315.5

To be paid no later than noon 23/11/2012
_________________________________________________________________________

Payment can be made by calling our offices on 0330-088-3577 with your debit card details.

We would prefer an amicable settlement; however, should the settlement amount not be paid by the specified date, we will not hesitate to take such further enforcement action as may be appropriate.

Should you have any questions, please telephone our offices on free phone telephone number 0330-088-3577 .

Important: If you are not the named person above, please contact us to stop any further communication.

Regards

They have probably just sent the email to a slightly wrong email address. And possibly a typo in the amounts.

Unless you get anything in writing by post, or something nasty appears on your credit files, I would electronically file under ignore.

    Hmm,

That's a computer generated mail because of the errors. No humans involved here, so unless you get a proper letter to your home address without errors, then ignore it.

My guess is that this company do an automated 'run' and they have an incorrect email address somewhere.

A quick google search shows them to be a payday loan company charging a representative APR of 4214%. I am pleased you have never had any other contact with them, and hope no-one else does either. Ignore the e-mail completely and add them to your "spam" settings.
