NEED HELP! Groupon and Zavvi offer mess!

Hi everyone,
So I saw an offer for a Galaxy S3 on Groupon for just £380 from about £520 and I bought it.
So what happens, for any who don't know, is I pay Groupon £380 in return for an offer code which I then enter on Zavvi.co.uk. This code gives me the £500 phone effectively for £0 from Zavvi who should then process the order, send me the phone and receive some money from Groupon.
Or that's how it should work at least...
Zavvi are out of stock, GREAT!
So they're saying that they're waiting for stock in from their suppliers and then send it out as soon as. This is great but no-one knows how soon, if ever, that will happen.
So if I wanted to cancel it, who would I cancel with? My contract is with Groupon but they'll only cancel any orders within 7 days and don't want to know about this particular offer until 7-10 days afterwards. SO...?
Do I now just sit and wait for Zavvi in the hope they'll get stock and deliver? The thing is that there must be 400+ other people waiting for it as well.
I also made the mistake of paying on a debit card so in this situation would the bank refund my money? I know on a credit card they would but on a VISA Debit?
Advice Please?
What rights do I have in all of this?
This has all left me a bit  rather than :rotfl: :j
I really appreciate any help you can give me! Also, is there anyone in the same boat as me here?
Thanks a lot!
Matt

Debit or credit card makes no diffrence.
You paid for a voucher, and you got it.
So no non reciept of goods. No CCA (no debitor/creditor link) as you paid groupon, not zavvi. No breech of contract or missrepresentation. As you got the voucher.
So sorry to say you are stuck. You really at the mercy of Groupon.
Perhaps you could try the OFT as they have slapped these co's before.
Sorry could not offer you more help.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
Try contacting Groupon and explain.
I bought a LoveFilm voucher from them before (ok only £6 as opposed to your £380), but voucher was only for new LoveFilm customers - which I am not! They did refund without any problem once I explained.Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
I would imagine Groupon would refund in the circumstances..
They refunded someone I know when they could not get the offer they had bought.
Contact them and see what they say.0
